Final Report:Train Derailment near Ashby,NE - Powder River Division - Sand Hills Subdivision

On Sunday April 27, 2025 at approximately 7:15 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Ashby,NE which has affected the main track. Ashby,NE is approximately 50 miles southeast from Alliance,NE. BNSF personnel responded and assessed the site. The main track was returned to service on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 05:32 p.m. CDT.
