Initial Report: Train Derailment near Glenwood Springs, CO (UPRR Glenwood Springs Subdivision)

On Wednesday May 6th, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Glenwood Springs, CO which has affected the main track. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the derailment site. The time of opening of the main track is 1600 CDT on Thursday, May 7th, 2026.
