Final Report: Train Derailment near Glenwood Springs, CO (UPRR Glenwood Springs Subdivision)

On Wednesday May 6th, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Glenwood Springs, CO which has affected the main track. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the derailment site. The main track was returned to service at 1:22 p.m. CDT on Thursday, May 7th, 2026.
