On Thursday, March 26,2026 at approximately 11:22 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Des Moines, IA which has affected the main track. Des Moines, IA is approximately 6 miles east of Windsor Heights, IA. BNSF field personnel responded to assess the derailment site. Mainlines are back open and operational.
